While I still don't know the answer to the question in the headline, one of the most senior members of the Hebrew Wikipedia community admitted to me today that this post first sparked his interest in Wikipedia. And the rest is history.

BTW, my Wiki-skepticism has faded out since I wrote that post. Partly because Wikipedia proved to be useful. And partly because I (think I) understand its social mechanism better now. About which I am not going to go in details now, because it's bed time. Good night.
